Saint John's Eagle River Institute
The Eagle River Institute of Orthodox Christian Studies is sponsored by Saint John Orthodox Cathedral of the Antiochian Archdiocese. It is held each summer August 1-5 at the Cathedral in Eagle River, Alaska, and offers college-level instructions in a variety of Orthodox topics. Since 1995, many well-known Orthodox scholars have presented on various topics related to Orthodox theology and history. These lectures are not for academics but for average lay people serious about their Christian faith.
